Description

A piece based on the ideas of function and unfunction, and the effect of silence being the sound. Aspects of minimalism, and unconventional media also.
(was also a base idea for an installation so imagine a whole room full of speakers...)

This piece was for my experimental practice module at uni. COMMENTS PLEASE!!!! My lecturers are pooey :poo: !!!

(art critic from the Emotion-in-art group)
To open with positivity, I like this artwork because of the amazing idea that you've come with and the need to execute it in the right measures (not too many speakers) and in the right composition to express your idea (non-functionality).
After all, speakers are urban and they're known to use in vectors so what I would recommend you is to Photoshop the background and turn it into a white and vista (weak shadow on white floor) and it will create an amazing artwork far more than the current. It will add an exclusive kind of surrealistic feeling to the artwork, and along will add emotion to it.
Also, I suggest you to try and take a photograph of the speakers in different points of view;
From the floor - to make the speakers look bigger than usual, eye to eye - stable feeling, no pressure or any you can think of.
